These are the hats we wore to walk to the store yesterday to buy batteries for the camera to take pictures of hats to post today. (Did you follow all that?) Once we got all bundled up and got outside I realized it was actually rather warm and M didn't need his hat at all, but he insisted on keeping it. Once M puts a hat on it takes something pretty serious to get him to remove it voluntarily.
All pictures just taken on the portrait setting of my Fujifilm FinePix S5100; fixed the contrast in Picasa.
I love the angle on this one, but it was totally accidental--he wouldn't stand still, and this is just how I managed to catch him.
Sleepy ewok baby and
Michael wouldn't smile for me because he wanted to take the picture rather than have his picture taken.
Distraction! Airplane!
I tried to bribe him by telling him he could take a picture after he smiled for me. This was the response I got.
"Self? Minal, piture? Self!"
Once we got inside he replaced his own hat with mine and went to work at his train tracks. That boy loves hats!
I love that you walked "uphill both ways". Also, teeny tiny bit jealous of your weather but I won't admit it. Instead I'll be all "I'm so happy for you!!!"
ReplyDeleteANYTHING is better than car seats - makes me think back fondly on our walks with the stroller & wrap back when I just had two :) Love that bundled baby!
ReplyDeleteSelf! Oh, boy, do I hear that all the time? How old is Michael? My Zeke is 21 months and that's about his favorite word.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, love the sepia and the very top one of Michael. That's a fun angle!
Michael turned a very independent 2 last month. I'm loving this age :)
DeleteLove these. The angle in the first one and the "hey you, give me that camera" one. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteNow send some of that weather this way. We're in the middle of some sort of blizzard here.
Thanks for linking up. Hope to see you next week.
Thank you all! You don't have to be too terribly jealous of our weather (although I certainly won't complain). We got rain-turned freezing-turned snow later that night, and we're expecting more snow this weekend!
