I knew this was coming, but despite an impressive vocabulary, great communication skills, and a healthy dose of curiosity, Michael just hadn't been asking "Why?" In fact, I think he maybe asked that particular question twice. Ever.
Until last week. And it wasn't a gradual development either. One day he wasn't asking "why?" and the next he was. All. The. Time.
I think maybe it was triggered by getting to sleep in a big boy bed while we're here at Grandma & Grandpa's house. He woke up after his first night here and voila! Why?
