Something old and something new, something borrowed and...

... a whole lot of blue.

No, this has nothing to do with weddings.  But I'm only a few sips into my first cup of coffee, and even though the littlest one only woke up once last night (not counting the brief waking at 9:30 when I finally remembered to move my laundry to the dryer and, of course, woke him up when I started the dryer) he also woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed shortly before 6:30.  Which wouldn't have been a problem if I had gone to bed right after switching my laundry... I think there's just something in the air in Lincoln that makes it impossible to get to bed before 11.

ANYwhoo.  New blog design! (In case you didn't notice).  The background is a photo of Sandhill Cranes courtesy of my dad and Picasa.  I spent what seemed like all day Friday (Alex and the boys would probably agree) trying to optimize the positioning and shading to get the effect I wanted without compromising readability.  What do you think?  Does it work?

And of course I can't get Blogger's mobile template to do anything I want, and somehow I got rid of the background completely and can't get it back.  That's a battle for another day... maybe later today... after more coffee.
