There have been some exciting new developments in the last two weeks--Michael has finally started signing some of the words/phrases we've been working on for over six months! He now signs "all done" consistently (his version, which consists of holding his hands over his head and flapping them), and "more" and "please" occasionally. Such a simple thing, but so wonderful to have a little more precise communication--especially at mealtimes, when we need it the most!
In addition, if he is in the right mood he will tell you that Thomas (the Tank Engine) says "toot toot" and cows say "ooooo." I am one proud Mama :)
