Michael is thoroughly enamored with any adult drinking device - especially if it has a straw. So for his birthday we got him his own "big boy" water bottle with a straw.
When the present from Grandma and Grandpa arrived in the mail, Michael was so excited to play with it (whatever it was) that he couldn't wait for Daddy to open it - he just had to climb on top of it.
But as much fun as climbing was, the present was even more exciting once it was opened. Michael loves things that go round and round, so this gear board was absolutely perfect!
In gratitude for Daddy freeing the toy from its box-prison, Michael was very happy to share.
Instead of birthday cake we did birthday turtle cookies. I ran out of frosting and decided to write his name with sprinkles instead of making more frosting with which to decorate. It sort of worked...
CiCi and Papa surprised us with some super fun (and super long-lived - still inflated after almost two weeks) balloons - all the cousins enjoyed them.
The cookies were a big hit with the birthday boy!
Happy birthday Michael! We love you!!!
